Hey pengs!!! You excited about the party? It’s on the 20th!!! For now, Screenhog has occupied us until the party. In his post, he talks about the history of puffles. Have you ever wondered just exactly how these puffles were born? Let’s take a look.
They dug really deep to find out the history of the puffle. It’s hard to believe now, but when Club Penguin launched, there were no puffles at all. At that time, the community of Club Penguin asked if they could have some kind of pet to adopt for their igloo, and they decided that, instead of using animals that already existed, they wanted to make up a completely new creature for the penguins to adopt.
They started sketching some ideas of what a Club Penguin pet might look like, and now, showing for the first time ever, here are some of those original sketches from November 2005, which eventually turned into the birth of the puffle!
This drawing may remind you of “evolution.” It first starta out as a cream colored, ugly looking snail thingy, then continues on to a cute looking purple alien fuzzball, and a taruntula- like hideous brown thing, then a creative looking blue crab, then comes a blue puffle with skin diseases! (lol ;D just joking.) And all of that huliliation (joking again) comes to the birth of the puffle. (I wonder how they got their name..)
